Biography 

Ahmed Ali is an innovator, an entrepreneur, systems thinker and change-maker with passion and experience in the areas of health equity, social impact, and community resilience. Dr. Ali is an active member within the Somali community, a founding member of the the Somali Health Board (SHB), a grassroots organization, with ambitious goals of reducing and eliminating health disparities that disproportionately affect the Somali population throughout King County and Washington. He is also a co-owner of the Othello Station Pharmacy, the only independently black owned pharmacy in King County. Dr. Ali has also served various advocacy, policy and systems change tables, including the Fred Hutch Community Advocacy Board, the City of Seattle’s Sweetened Beverages Tax Advisory Board (Mayoral appointee), and King County's Healthierhere.
