UW/Fred Hutch Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) is an NIH-funded infrastructure program that advances the prevention, detection, and treatment of HIV infection and AIDS by fostering collaborative and interdisciplinary research, supporting career development in early-stage investigators, and providing cutting-edge core support to researchers and scientists at our affiliated institutions. CFAR members include more than 700 UW and affiliated faculty, research scientists, and predoctoral and postdoctoral students. Led by Jared Baeten, MD, PhD and King K. Holmes, MD, PhD.
