Enrollment for UW students, faculty and staff is open for the Husky Coronavirus Testing.
See UW Medicine's COVID-19 Vaccines guide.
We remain committed to providing a high-quality Husky Experience for every student, supporting the University of Washington’s vital research and service missions, and continuing to provide the outstanding medical care that keeps our community healthy.
This winter and spring, most courses will be held online. As health restrictions permit, we will offer more in-person student services and activities during spring quarter, and intend to safely return to largely in-person instruction this fall.
Information and resources for students and for staff, faculty and other academic personnel are available, and UW Bothell, UW Tacoma and UW Medicine also offer additional resources specific to their communities.
We can save lives and stop COVID-19 if each of us does our part. If you are sick with any illness, you must stay home.
- If you have COVID-19 symptoms, or if your health provider confirms or suspects COVID-19: please notify the UW Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) COVID-19 Response Team, who will provide support and follow up with people potentially at-risk for illness. (UW Medicine employees should contact their Employee Health Services office.)
- If you have questions about Husky Coronavirus Testing: Please review our testing FAQ and then contact the testing team if you need more help.
COVID-19 vaccine information
The Washington State Department of Health developed a timeline for when different populations are eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines. The University strongly encourages UW employees and students get vaccinated when they become eligible. UW Medicine is administering vaccines, including to UW community members, based on eligibility criteria and supplies.
- Students and employees who are Washington residents can visit FindYourPhaseWA.org to find out if they are eligible to receive a vaccine in a given phase/tier and monitor the Washington Department of Health site for the latest information on vaccine prioritization and availability.
- UW Medicine employees should consult the priority schedule for UW Medicine personnel.
- UW community members currently living outside of Washington should consult your health care provider or the local health department(s).
